What happened to the Crazy Hip Blog Mamas? Why did they pack up their web site and go home? (Thanks Mel for the heads-up.) Any of you who were showing their BizRate/Shopzilla ad please note that it ended at the end of March ‘08 and you can take it down now.
Amen, ‘boundaries’ is precisely right. I’ll go out on a limb here and say that breastfeeding an 8 year old is just plain wrong. Yes, I am judging people who do it. I have opinions. The end.

They (the CHBM ladies) were always really good about correspondence. I wonder if they just didn’t get to renew the domain or something. I know that I wanted to participate and often did but very rarely did the site show up among “updated feeds.” It’s kind of uncharacteristic that they’d just go w/o a word.

I even emailed a week or so ago about the last payment, wondering what was up, and didn’t hear a thing.
I mean, if it got too much, they could have just said so. Someone would have taken it over.
(I’ll also note that in the domain redirect it says “suspended page” which means they let the payments lapse on the hosting either accidentally or on purpose. Or they hit bandwitdh limits.)
Andrea, they always paid in advance, so the December ‘07 payment was the final one and covered having their ad on your site through the end of March ‘08.
Eden, it doesn’t look like their domain expired. I checked that the other day, and I forget when it said, but it was at least months from now. Looks like something may have happened with their hosting?
That said, I emailed them last December to see if they were going to do another ad buy and never heard back…
