why is it that the word 'asshat' brings me so much joy?
glad to see your eye hasn't hindered your blogging…
hi…you seem like someone who could give me real advice. I was on the Silicon Valley blog…and found your blog…here's my question.
My dh commutes and basically works in Silicon Valley - mountainview and we live in beautiful Portland, Oregon. It's killing him all the flying after 7 years…our marriage is so disconnected due to all the travel…and our kids 10 and 13 are missing out on his influence.
Is living in Silicon Valley all that bad? For some reason I just think our quality of life will go in the toliet. We live a beautiful neighborhood in a really nice house…in a great school district….it's "picturesque".
Are there places to live in Silicon Valley that have high quality of life?
email me!!! Thank you :)
Julie
If you can think of another Mom that lives in Silicon Valley that you could forward this too…I wouldn't mind.
Thanks.
Julie, I'm sorry you think I live in a toilet ;) but I actually love living here and wouldn't trade it for anything.
My husband's family lives in Portland and while it is perfectly nice there, I could never make it home. I'm sorry I don't have any advice for you.
These are great! Thanks for continuing to introduce me to new blogs (and making me realize that everyone elses blog is WAY better than mine! ;-))
And I do believe that asshat is now my fave word!
