all the time here..people leave stuff like entire computer systems, tv's fridges beside the dumpsters…most of it gets taken pretty fast.

Done all the time, here in upstate NY. More common are treasures left outside the home for the trash and a car (sometimes mine!) picks it up. It's even common knowledge when the Trash Day is of wealthy suburbs so the rest of us can beat them!
