Whoa, I leave town and instantly go all Admiral Stockdale on my blog. I guess this answers the question about how much mental energy is required to take 3 boys and a husband on a 13 hour drive, see relatives, attend a funeral, celebrate Christmas, and get everyone to sleep every night.

So much for multitasking. But we have been having a good trip. Every day is an endurance adventure, but it is a fun vacation and we're out doing different stuff every day. So that's good, right?

Be thinking of me while you're recovering from your hangovers on the 1st. I will have gotten up at 5am to get started on the way back home. Ouch!
