- Get off your brother!
- Cut it out!
- When he cries, that means you need to stop!
- Because that's what we do in our family
- I need two good listeners
- Time to hit the road!
- OK, goofballs…
- Good night boys
- I love you right back
- Underpants!

Ha!! "When he cries, that means you need to stop!" sounds eerily familiar. Sigh.
Kristen,
You wouldn't think it is something that needs to be said, but apparently it is. I learn something new every day!
Jane
I've started a list like this in my head. Why would "do NOT eat your sunscreen" not become obvious after the four billionth time?
Love your site. :-)
Mrs. Fllinger,
The list keeps growing, and I'm sure I'll need to do at least a part II or more. Chip is more commonly known as 'danger-baby' and is getting a few phrases of his very own.
"Stop turning off the water supply to the dishwasher!" is clearly too esoteric and lost on him. And "Just stop it!!!" makes him laugh until he falls down. Sigh…
Love your site :)
If I had more then one child, I have a feeling my list would look this extensive. Although we're getting there. I think I repeated, "When the dog runs away, it means you need to leave him alone for a bit." about 22 times today…
Jane, I followed a random link from CrazyHip to your site. Welcome to the blogosphere! I am also Mom to three boys, age 7,5 &2. I remember my moment of truth (or acceptance, or mindsnapping or whatever) came one Saturday morning while I was yelling, "No more jumping off the furniture!! From now on, there will be no more jumping off the furniture in this house!!!"
At that point I had a sort of out of body experience, where my disembodied self stepped aside while I was yelling and said calmly, "Who are you kidding? You have three boys. There will *always* be jumping off the furniture in this house."
I am still holding out in the toilet seat battle, however. How's that going over at your place?
k.
Liesl: too funny! About a hundred times a day I say "When the cat makes that noise he wants to be by himself!" We must be living parallel lives!
K: I had to give up on the jumping from furniture too. The 1 year old drags a step stool around the house just so that where ever he is he will be able to jump! As for the toilet seat, I am still at the point where I just want them to get all the pee in the TOILET. Step one. We'll move on to putting the seat down after my bathrooms stop smelling like the subway!

Blogger Holiday Cookie Party! Yay! I love bloggers, holidays, cookies, and parties. What could be better than this?
"Parents who choose a stroller that seats their baby facing away from them could risk long-term development problems in their children" -- I call BULLSHIT. Why is this being made an issue?
Need a new sewing machine? Polliwogged is giving away two Singer Curvys.
Holy crap.
Oh Christina, there's no shame at all. And good for you for deciding to fight for your marriage.
OK, we're all meeting Laura at pickup today and we're going to kick ass and take names.
Amen.
Loralee is at the hospital with a major kidney infection. Hustle over and tell her something funny.
Perfect! I couldn't have said it better myself.
YAY Simone!!
Sounds heavenly, but I'm left wondering what in the world is a "Teutonic spank?"
Congrats! (And I totally better be in that 20 or I'm going to cut you at BlogHer!)
"New England's like Lesbian Vegas right now."
Stop by and leave some kind words.
